Our general insurance client is seeking an actuarial analyst with prior actuarial experience to join their team in a role focused on capital and reserving. This role is based in Sydney.
About the role
- Assist with ICAAP and undertaking annual stress testing as well as regulatory submissions to APRA and help develop and maintain the capital model.
- Perform monthly valuations and assist with drafting the FCR.
- Assist with AASB17 implementation.
- Work with the data science team on upgrading programming/modelling capabilities throughout the business.
About you
- Minimum of 1 year of actuarial experience in general, life, or health insurance.
- Tertiary degree in Actuarial Studies and progressing with exams.
- Proficient with programming languages such as R, Python, SQL, and SAS.
- Curious and able to pick up things quickly.
