Our general insurance client is seeking an actuarial contractor to join their team for 12 months working on a range of projects in pricing. This role can be based anywhere in Australia.
About the role
- Assist with upgrading and/or creating new pricing processes across personal and commercial lines of business.
- Engage with a range of different stakeholders across the business.
- Manage multiple large-scale pricing projects ongoing.
- This role also has the option to potentially manage two direct reports.
About you
- Associate or Fellow of the Actuaries Institute of Australia or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in general insurance pricing roles in actuarial.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Prior managerial experience is desirable but not essential.
- Proficient with programming languages such as SQL & Python.
