About the Role:
- Assist in preparing quarterly reserving and solvency estimates for local regulatory reporting for assigned APAC countries. As well as preparing for other annual valuation reviews.
- Assist in implementing IFRS 17 reporting requirements and prepare quarterly board and risk committee reporting.
- Support in reviewing capital targets and investment strategies including ALM and support the budget loss ratio exercise and annual financial planning.
- Assist in support strategic portfolio reviews and deep dive analysis of certain business segments.
About you:
- At least 2 to 3 yearsโ experience in general insurance gained within a consulting or a corporate environment
- Proficiency in actuarial concepts/methodologies and ability to discuss technical concepts with non-technical line managers.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work closely with a team and meet set deadlines.
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in reserving software and knowledge of SQL, SAS and VBA.
