Our client is looking for a junior analyst to join the team and assist in actuarial reporting, analysis, and data visualisation activities. This role can be based in either Sydney of Geelong.
About the role
- You will be working with large data sets and responsible for optimising machine learning/regression models
- Gathering, combining, structuring, and organising data
- Build strong working relationships with a broad range of external and internal stakeholders
- You will be responsible for presenting to senior audiences and non-technical audiences
- Responsible for Cost-benefit analyses, ad hoc modeling requests and report production
About you
- Background/degree in econometrics, actuarial science, or data science preferred
- Strong coding skills in R, SAS, or Python are not essential but highly desirable
- Some experience developing economic/statistical or machine learning models
