About the Role:
Continuously monitor, analyse, model, assess and report on the actual and forward-looking capital position of the business, including risks and opportunities
Assist in the development and maintenance of a robust and effective capital strategy, plan and roadmap of activities that will optimise the business’s Internal Capital Adequacy Process (ICAAP), including target capital, required return on capital and capital allocation
Manage the process of and contribute to quarterly and annual Board Reports, including but not limited to the Financial Condition Report, the ICAAP Report and Summary Statement
The opportunity to oversee, manage and mentor actuarial analysts within the Capital Team
About You:
Nearly/newly FIAA qualified or equivalent
Experience in capital management or other finance business areas including, reinsurance, risk management, or in an actuarial consultancy firm as well as working knowledge of stochastic modelling
Knowledge of corporate financial concepts, accounting standards (IFRS), capital and rating regimes, an understanding of the balance sheet and the P&L of an insurance company
A proactive team player with exceptional communication skills, able to work independently and deliver high quality results while meeting deadlines
