Our general insurance client is seeking an actuary looking to work in a non-traditional strategic role with a heavy focus on reinsurance.
About the role
- Assist with global reinsurance strategy and coordinate with underwriting, risk, and capital teams internally.
- Support design and analysis of reinsurance solutions and assess financial impact to the business.
- Assist with managing and leading other strategic initiatives across the business including finance, portfolio optimisation, growth, and analytics.
- Support with quarterly and annual forecasting, planning and budgeting, identifying and driving improvements along the way.
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in actuarial studies.
- Strong actuarial experience in general insurance and reinsurance.
- Commercially aware and has a financially and commercially astute mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
