Our life insurance client is seeking a nearly/newly qualified actuary to join their team in a varied role working across pricing, valuation, and capital. This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.
About the role
- Assist with valuation, IFRS 17, and capital reporting.
- Assist with business planning/ICAAP forecasting as well as experience investigations.
- Opportunities to also get involved in pricing, reinsurance and portfolio management.
- Provide pricing support to a Senior Pricing Actuary.
About you
- 3-5 years of actuarial experience in the life insurance industry with valuation and IFRS17 experience essential.
- Highly proficient with Prophet and strong VBA/Python coding experience.
- Highly motivated, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Nearly/recently qualified as an actuary.
