Our client is a global General Insurer looking for talented actuaries to join their team in performing pricing reviews and reserving.
About the Role
- Participate in submitting statutory statistical returns and reports through conducting new monitoring and analysis methods
- Perform projects involving actuarial analysis, investigations and modelling
- Provide judgement in setting assumptions, the strengths and weaknesses of various techniques applied including the impact of possible outcomes on key profit drivers and performance metrics
- Review code base for data preparation and ensuring you specify, build, direct and check on its development
About You
- Progressing through exams (FIAA or equivalent)
- At least 3 years’ experience in a general insurance role (Australian experience preferred)
- Thorough knowledge of actuarial monitoring, reserving and pricing techniques and the different drivers of NCOR and ROE for general insurance
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
