Our client is seeking a senior analyst/newly qualified actuary to work in a small team focused on reserving and capital.
About the role
- Perform data extraction, cleansing, and analysis to support actuarial calculations, reports, and insights.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of reserving, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Support the development and maintenance of capital models, contributing to the calculation of regulatory capital and assessment of capital sufficiency.
- Support in completing quarterly APRA returns.
- Assist with scenario testing and sensitivity analysis as part of capital and risk assessments.
About you
- 2-5 years of actuarial experience in general insurance with experience in reserving and/or capital essential.
- Progressing with exams or qualified as a FIAA or equivalent.
- Able to work independently within a small team environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
