Senior Actuarial Analyst/Actuary – General Insurance
Location: Singapore (Employment sponsorship provided)
About the Role
Our client—a leading non‑life insurance research and insights organisation—is seeking an Actuarial Research Manager/Actuary from Australia to join their Singapore office.
You will:
- Undertake quantitative and qualitative research, analysis and prepare written materials in support of strategic policy research initiatives
- Support talent development programmes, including designing workshops and mentoring schemes
- Assist in project management of key initiatives to ensure timely delivery
- Provide ad hoc operational support to the team as required
What You Bring
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in non‑life or general insurance, with actuarial or catastrophe risk modelling preferred
- Tertiary or professional qualification in actuarial science, data analytics, engineering, mathematics or a related field
- Proficiency in programming (e.g. Python, R) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis, modelling and visualisation
- Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across organisational boundaries and operate both independently and as part of a team
- High level of initiative and commitment to ethical standards
- Fluency in written and verbal English; additional language skills advantageous
