About the role
- Taking the lead in pricing the renewals of client funds, establishing appropriate assumptions, and delivering recommendations and advice to the Senior Executive team.
- When necessary, participating in significant new business tenders.
- Ensure pricing aligns with regulatory requirements and internal profitability metrics.
- Key contact for clients and reinsurance partners, providing insights into and negotiating the client’s pricing position.
- Nurturing the development of team members, fostering their technical pricing expertise, commercial acumen, and ability to engage with stakeholders.
About you
- FIAA or AIAA (desirable).
- Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline e.g. Actuarial, Finance, Commerce
- Minimum 5 years in Group Insurance pricing, with significant working knowledge of Group Insurance products and the market/industry.
- Extensive track record of effectively influencing and negotiating with stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Proven experience in mentoring and coaching others, with the ability to motivate others in order to achieve business outcomes.
- Solid Microsoft Office skills, including Advanced Excel.
- Proficient in R and/or PowerBI.
