Our client is a multinational general insurance company and is currently looking for a qualified actuary to join their reserving function. The role will be focusing on the liability and financial lines portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Development and execution of the end-to-end reserving process for liability and financial lines products including all statutory deliverables
- Collaborating with the Claims, Underwriting, Finance and Business functions to provide actionable insights that will drive portfolio performance
- Oversee and execute uplift on the reserving platform to unlock efficiencies and improve grain of insights
- Provide leadership and drive a performance culture in the team
About You:
- Relevant actuarial qualification (Fellow) with the Institute of Actuaries of Australia or equivalent body
- Extensive general insurance reserving experience, preferably in long tail products
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills with a strategic mindset
- Ability to drive a high-performance culture in a team with a mindset to constantly improve existing processes
