Our client is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join the Asia Pacific Actuarial Analytics team. The successful candidate plays an important role in analysing risks to their business across all product lines and supporting operations regionally and globally. The role is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
About the role
- Perform data analysis and understand the drivers of ultimate claims costs
- Produce financial modelling and understand the financial position of clients
- Deliver risk solutions to clients, including reinsurance risk transfer and pricing
- Develop expertise in reinsurance and financial modelling
- Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related disciplines
- Min 3-8 years of General insurance or Reinsurance experience, and actively making progress to being qualified
- Strong critical and innovative thinking
- Strong problem solving skills and project management skills
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
