Our client is one of the world’s leading parametric insurers and is currently looking for an enthusiastic and passionate analyst (ideally with an actuarial background) to join their Australian team in Sydney.
Responsibilities:
- Help build upon the delivery of the corporate broker network and communicate to foster the development of strong client relationships
- Liaise with a plethora of stakeholders to enhance business development including but not limited to industry meetings, events, client lunches
- Understand the Australian market and its parametric offerings towards climate risk to enhance business opportunities
- Support ongoing business functions across the company
About You:
- Currently undergoing your Actuarial Exams to become AIAA Qualified or Equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in a relevant industry or role, such as actuarial or underwriting or brokerage firms
- Ability to work autonomously, communicate effectively, and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail
- Team player who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
