This is a key position to join the Group Life team and will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the strategy of the wider Group Life business.
You will be responsible for the commercial performance of the Group Life businesses and will work with respective Head’s of to help design and measure produce outcomes and insights and will be working closely with the product and pricing teams, as well as the client partnerships.
This role is based in Sydney.
About the Role
- You will work on the measurement of Portfolio performance and development of profitability metrics.
- Deliver claims projection models as well as insights into trends and drivers of the claims experience through the use of a range of tools including R, RShiny, Tableau, PowerBI, Excel, Web.
- Supporting the Claims Team to develop claims management approaches and processes.
- Developing various models and tools to support key business strategy in the fast-moving Group Life field.
About You
- Minimum 1-3 years’ actuarial and data science skills experience in Life Insurance, preferable in the Group Market
- You will be a nearly qualified actuary or have made significant progress in actuarial exams.
- excellent analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
- You must have experience in R and SQL.
