About the role
- Provide technical actuarial and pricing advice on pricing projects and business initiative deliverables within required timeframes
- Develop and utilise pricing models to produce results and carry out analysis for strategic decision making
- Retail insurance pricing to support the business in order to achieve pricing and product targets
- Carry out Profitability analysis
- Improve internal models and processes to enhance efficiency and technical outcomes across the team
- Proactively manage risk; meeting all policy and compliance requirements and performing controls, whilst adhering to Processes and Procedures
About you
- FIAA or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Australian life insurance industry
- Solid understanding of the Australian life insurance industry and individual risk products
- Proficient in Prophet modelling, Excel, VBA, with SQL, R and/or Python also desirable
- Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and oral, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
