About the role
- Working closely with the Pricing Manager, this role will assist with and take responsibility for a wide range of tasks with the actuarial and product space
- Perform technical pricing analysis
- Prepare reporting of product performance for management meetings and committees
- Assist with the development of data analytics capability within the product and pricing area in order to improve business performance
- Assist with client evaluation and due diligence investigations
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification, and working towards FIAA (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years experience in General or Life insurance industries, with experience in LMI and/or banking desirable
- Working knowledge of financial modelling and pricing techniques
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills
- Experience with SAS, Python, R and Power Bi desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to engage with people at all levels including senior management and external stakeholders
