Our client is looking for a Senior Actuarial Health Analyst for a 12 month FTC.

You will be responsible for the design, undertaking and delivery of analytical insights in support of commercial negotiations with health care payers as well as the development and implementation of the client’s strategic initiatives.

Undertake data analysis and modelling to assess the impact of proposed health care funding models on Healthscope revenue and other performance measures.

This role will involve the data analysis of health, health care and industry data; costing, pricing and funding models and health care funding, industry and patient health needs.

You will have:

  • An Actuarial degree, currently working through, or recently completed the Actuarial exams
  • Previous Actuarial experience from a Health insurance background
  • Actuarial modelling skills – ideally in SAS, SQL
  • Experience working with health and health care data
  • Experience with assessing market trends and developing business insights
  • Good understanding of the Australian private and public health care sector
